Brunei Darussalam announces scholarship for Pakistani students

ISLAMABAD – The Government of Brunei Darussalam has recently announced scholarships for undergraduate and post-graduate programs for Pakistani students.

This scholarship is applicable to these three universities:

• The University Brunei Darussalam


• University Islam Sultan Shariff Ali


• University Technology Brunei

All these universities provide a range of educational fields which attracts students from all over the world and from different departments.



The Government of Brunei will bear the following expenses:

• Tuition fees


• Economy class air ticket to Brunei from applicant's country of origin and back upon successful completion of program


• Monthly personal allowance of BND 500


• Annual Book Allowance of BND 600


• Monthly meals allowance of BND 150


• Baggage allowance maximum BND 500 upon completion of the program only


• Accommodation at the residential college of the university.

Candidates between the ages of 18-25 are eligible to apply for undergraduate programs and age below 35 years for postgraduate programs. Students with 3rd division are not eligible, and only one candidate from 2nd division will be allowed.

The deadline to apply is 20th February so all those interested are advised to start as soon as possible.

The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) will be handling the application process and will be available for any sort of help students require.
