CJCSC General Zubair calls on PM Nawaz; discusses professional matters

ISLAMABAD - Chairman Joint Chiefsof Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Zubair Mahmood Hayat called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at the PM House on Thursday.

According to a statement from the PM House, professional matters pertaining to the armed forces were discussed during the meeting. Strategic issues related to national defence also came under discussion, the statement said.

Earlier, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif addressed an International Parliamentary Seminar organised by National Assembly Secretariat and Young Parliamentarians Forum on Kashmir held in Islamabad to discuss the prevailing situation in India-held Kashmir.

The PM said the struggle of Kashmiris for freedom in the face of that oppression cannot be stifled by sounds of bullets.

The premier was "The world needs to tell India 'enough is enough' with regard to its policy towards the freedom movement in held Kashmir,"  he said.
