The chief minister paid a surprise visit to a ‘Ramazan bazaar’ in Johar Town area of the provincial capital, but what made the social media buffs go crazy was Shehbaz Sharif allowing the security guard to search his body at the entrance. However, the ones accompanying him were allowed to walk past the walk-through gate without any body search.
The Government of Punjab’s official Twitter account uploaded pictures of chief minister showing him following the procedures as an ordinary citizen but a Twitterati shared video of him depicting another side of the story.

Shehbaz Sharif met also citizens in Ramazan bazaar and inquired about prices of commodities.
Although a sizeable majority of masses admire the chief minister for behaving like an ordinary citizen in public, a chunk also holds a different opinion terming the gesture ‘publicity stunt’.
