CTD kills two suspected terrorists in Multan

  • One of the deceased terrorist has been identified as Asghar
  • CTD officials also seized weapons and grenades during the raid

MULTAN – The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) official on Sunday night killed two suspected terrorists during a raid in an area of Multan.

Following a tip-off regarding the presence of a suspected terrorist, Ijaz Asghar and his associates, the officials raided Chak No. 23 of Jalalpur Pirwala to nab them.

A gun battle erupted between the miscreants and raiding party at the site. Two of the terrorist were killed in exchange of fired on the spot. A deceased has been identified as leader of the group named Asghar. However, other suspects fled from the scene.

The CTD officials claimed to have seized weapons, grenades and explosives during the raid.
