ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Deputy chairman of China’s central military commission General Fan Changlong on Thursday called on Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif to discuss the bilateral ties of Pakistan and China, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
During the meeting General Fan Changlong appreciated the role of army chief in strengthening the relationship of both countries. He also lauded Pakistan army’s cooperation for quick construction of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
Chinese General also paid tribute to memorandum of martyrs along General Raheel Sharif.
Earlier upon his arrival in Pakistan, he issued a statement to newsmen which said that Pakistan and China are all weather friends and their relationship has been further strengthened by China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Both countries have been benefiting from each other’s experience and will continue cooperation in all fileds of life, he said.
General Fan Changlong will also meet other leading Pakistani civil and military officials during the visit.
