Doctors end strike in KP hospitals

PESHAWAR (Web Desk) - Doctors from all the three major government hospitals of Peshawar has announced to end strike after successful negotiations with CM Pervez Khattak.

Paramedics Association has said that government has also ended all show cause notices against doctors.

At last, strike has ended in three major hospital of Peshawar including Khyber Teaching, Hayatabad Medical Complex and Lady Reading Hospitals.

Health Minister Peshawar Shahram Khan Turakai was also present in the meeting. Paramedics Association representatives said after the meeting that government has also ended all show cause notices against doctors.

Doctors said that government has accepted all demands including medical staff timings, service structure and professional health allowance.
