First FIR under usury act registered in Swat

SWAT - The first case under usury act has been registered in Swat, a private channel TV reported on Saturday.

Police have registered a FIR under usury act on the complaint of Akhtar Badshah in Khawza Khaila police station, Sawat.

According to police, the suspect is reported to have received Rs 1, 35,000 more than the principal amount. According to usury act money which is received in excess of principal amount has been declared usury.

The complainant had purchased a car from the suspect last year.

Police have started raids for the arrest of the suspect after registration of the case.
