KARACHI – A video recorded by a foreign visitor taking viral Kiki Challenge – a new dance routine that is taking over social media – has landed Pakistan International Airline (PIA) into troubled waters.
Eva zu Beck, a Global Citizen who has been exploring Pakistan, can be seen dancing inside the plane while being wrapped in Pakistani flag before coming out of the airliner to complete the challenge.
This is the first time anyone has attempted the viral dance challenge on an airplane.
The national carrier announced a day before Independence day that a foreigner Eva zu Beck, who is from Poland will be celebrating Independence day in a style never before attempted in the world.

Soon after the airline shared her picture on its official Twitter handle, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) took notice of the attempt.
In a statement, a NAB spokesman said the chief of anti-graft body has taken notice of the ‘insult’ of national flag and ‘misuse’ of an airliner by a foreigner. The bureau has sent a notice to PIA’s COO to explain his position.
Eva zu Beck, the video blogger, has so far travelled to 44 countries.
Following a mixed reaction on the social media towards her ‘celebration’ of Pakistan’s Independence Day, the vlogger took to Facebook to explain what happened with the PIA Kiki Challenge video.
She added that she will “continue to explore the beauty of Pakistan” through her video blogs.
