Former Pakistan ambassador to US Hussain Haqqani gets new green passport

NEW YORK (Web Desk) - Government of Pakistan has issued a new passport to Hussain Haqqani.

The former Pakistan ambassador to the US had submitted an application in the Pakistani embassy in Washington for a new passport.

Haqqani was given a time period till last Saturday for the issuance of the passport however; he did not receive it in the said time frame due to which rumours spread that his passport delivery has been stopped.

However; he was issued the passport on Thursday evening which will be applicable till next five years.
