Four major generals promoted to rank of lieutenant general: ISPR

RAWALPINDI - Four major generals have been promoted to the rank of lieutenant general, said a statement released by army’s media wing on Wednesday.

Those promoted include Major General Majid Ehasn, Major General Aamir Abbasi, Major General Abdullah Dogar and Major General Hamooduz Zaman, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) added in the statement.

Major General Majid Ehasn has been promoted to lieutenant general and posted as the National Defence University (NDU) president, while Major General Abdullah Dogar has been promoted to lieutenant general and posted as the corps commander Multan.
