‘Fake’ audio clip 'recorded inside PK-661' before crash goes viral

ISLAMABAD - Soon after the horrific crash of PK-661, television channels aired some audio clips claiming that these were recordings of passengers at PK-661 moments before the crash, however these audio clips are fake, it has been learnt.

The audio clips being shared on social and electronic media actually relate to Etihad Airways flight from Abu Dhabi to Jakarta when the flight encountered severe turbulence in 2016 and moreover, it landed safely as well.

A tweet by seasoned journalist Gharidah Farooq confirmed that the audio was fake.

Moreover, black box of ill fated aircraft has been found a while ago but it's still to be decoded.
