Imran Khan meets army chief Gen Bajwa, felicitates on his appointment

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan on Friday held a meeting with Chief of Army Staff Qamar Javed Bajwa and felicitated the army chief on his promotion and appointment, said a tweet from the Inter-Services Public Relations.

The military's media wing also said that "various issues came under discussion". No further details about the visit were provided by ISPR.

General Bajwa was promoted on November 29, last year. The congratulatory meeting comes almost after four months of the appointment of the new army chief.
