ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Monday moved Supreme Court Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar to take notice of municipal lawlessness in Bani Gala; with the Capital Development Authority (CDA) refusing to move against law breakers.

The PTI chief wrote a letter to the apex court in order to draw court’s attention towards plight of the area where “the encroachers, land mafias and anarchic builders who are together turning Bani Gala into a concrete jungle”.

He urged the court to compel the CDA to take action against the miscreants involved in encroachments after massive cutting of trees and constructing unplanned and unregulated plazas.

He added that law enforcers have chosen to “allow encroachers and builder to make a mockery of the law”.
