Imran Khan prays for Kulsoom Nawaz's health

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan wished the best for Kulsoom Nawaz, the wife of former premier Nawaz Sharif, who has recently been diagnosed with throat cancer.

The PTI supremo took to Twitter and prayed that the former first lady wins the battle against cancer.

Apart from Imran Khan, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif also prayed for good health and long life of his 'bhabi' (Brother's wife)

Moreover, Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa made a telephone call to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and inquired after the health of his wife.

Kulsoom Nawaz, a candidate of the ruling party for NA-120 was diagnosed with throat cancer by British doctors.

According to the doctors, Kulsoom needed immediate treatment, however, her ailment was said to be curable and “treatment shouldn’t be too complicated.”
