ISLAMABAD – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that a decision regarding the merger of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) will be taken to its logical conclusion, reported Radio Pakistan.

He stated this during a meeting with Prime Minister’s Adviser Ameer Muqam in Islamabad on Friday, adding that establishing peace in KP and Fata is a top priority of the government.

The current political and security situation in the areas shows the struggle of incumbent government to realise its aim.

He stressed the need for mobilising party workers in the province to highlight issues being faced by the common people.
