International Defence Exhibition-2016 to be held on Tuesday

KARACHI - The four-day 9th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar-2016 will begin at Expo Centre in Karachi on Tuesday.

The theme for this year's exhibition is “Arms for Peace”. "Ninety-delegation from 43 countries will participate in the exhibition and 21 foreigners and 157-countrywide firms will showcase their products in the exhibition", reported Radio Pakistan.

Giving a media briefing about the exhibition, Commodore Tahir Javed, Media Director of Defence Export and Promotion Organisation, said that JF-Thunder, K8 Aircraft, Al-Khalid Tank, Fast Attack Craft Missile Boat and other defence products will be showcased in the event and this time nine hall of expo centre are being utilised.

Speaking on this occasion, spokesman of the Organisation Brigadier Waheed Mumtaz said high standard products would be displayed in the exhibition.

He said different countries want to take advantages from our experience of counter terrorism.
