MULTAN (Staff Report) – Veteran politician Javed Hashmi, who left PML-N to join PTI and quit the latter party as well in August last year, is once again all set to join Pakistan Mulsim League-Nawaz.

Sources told Daily Pakistan Global that a formal announcement in this regard will be made in January during Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s arrival in Multan where he is expected to visit Hashmi’s house as well.

Hashmi has taken a principled decision to join PML-N after consultation with his close political aides. Khawaja Saad Rafique played key role in his return according to sources.

Senior journalist and Daily Pakistan Editor-in-Chief Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami said that Javed Hashmi has decided to return to PML-N but he is awaiting someone’s call. Although it is not clear when he will make the formal announcement but he will ultimately join PML-N once again, he added.

Javed Hashmi, who was PML-N President during exile of Shrif brothers, is expected to take over a key post in the party once again, the sources stated.
