Junaid is a martyr, says Maulana Tariq

LAHORE - Famous Islamic scholar and mentor of deceased Junaid Jamshed, Maulana Tariq Jamil expressed grief over the sad incident of PK-661 plane crash and offered prayers for the families.

Remembering Junaid Jamshed,  the scholar said anyone would easily witness reflection of true teachings of Islam in Junaid Jamshed.

“I and Junaid together performed Haj 10 times from 2007 to 2016. I have rarely seen such a humble and kind person in my life. Last time I talked to him when he was in Chitral two days ago. He promised to meet me after coming back from his journey, but the wish will never be materialised now,” he said.

He termed Junaid Jamshed a martyr because he lost his life while preaching the path of Allah.
