Landlord cuts off 16-year-old worker's hands in Sheikhupura

SHEIKHUPURA (Staff Report) - A landlord chopped off both hands of a 16-year-old boy and then kept him chained for three months in his house in Sheikhupura.

Abubakar's hands were cut off with a cleaver after he refused to work for landlord three months ago. He luckily escaped the landlord's house earlier this week and filed a complaint with local police authorities.

The police have so far taken no action against the accused Rana Israr, who has 'abducted' many other workers as well according to the victim.

Taking notice of the incident Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered earliest action against the culprit. He asked local administration to provide free of cost medical facility and protection to the boy.
