Nishan-e-Imtiaz awarded to Dr. Ishrat Husain, Dean & Director IBA
KARACHI (Web Desk) - President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain has awarded the Nishan-e-Imtiaz to Dr. Ishrat Husain, Dean & Director IBA, for his meritorious services in the field of education.

Dr. Ishrat Husain, since taking his position as Dean and Director, has transformed the IBA. It now has the infrastructure of a world-class institute with outstanding faculty.

With this phenomenal expansion in the face of tough competition from various institutes in the country, and a determined focus on improving the quality of education, the IBA has been judged the best business school in Pakistan; and this has been made possible only by the unrelenting efforts of Dr. Ishrat Husain and his team.

Over the years, Dr. Ishrat has led the Institute through milestones that were previously only dreamt.

The IBA has received accreditations from the South Asia Quality Assurance Systems (SAQS) and National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC); not to mention the international linkages it has developed with institutes such as the USAID, NUS, CFA Institute, University of Southampton, The Washington Center, etc.

At the same time, various new programs have been introduced, spanning the fields of business, computer science, mathematics and the social sciences where students are outshining their contemporaries across the globe in international competitions and the global market.

Although the IBA has a long way to go in realizing its dream of becoming Top 100 business school in the world, Dr. Ishrat has laid the foundation for his successors to turn this into a reality.
