No loadshedding during Eidul Azha holidays

LAHORE - The electricity will be supplied to consumers uninterruptedly during three eid holidays from Monday night to Wednesday, sources at the Ministry of Water and Power told Daily Pakistan.

"Loadshedding will not take place after 6PM from today (Monday) across the country including major cities such as Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Rawalpindi and Peshawar", the source said.

Due to the closure of industries, additional power will be available to meet the demand of domestic consumers.

The officials said power distribution companies had been directed to make special arrangements for smooth operation and complaint redressal during Eid holidays.

The government had announced three-day Eidul Azha holidays from September 12-14.
