Nurses beat up doctor for 'sexual harassment' in Mirpur Khas

MIRPUR KHAS– A male doctor in a public hospital in Mirpur was thrashed by a group of nurses, who accused him of sexual harassment.

The incident took place at Civil Hospital where nursing staff attacked a doctor, identified as Dr. Ramesh, with slaps, punches and kicks. They also tore his clothes during the brawl, which was later stopped by other staff of the hospital.

The nurses alleged that the accused used to harass them while they were on duty, adding that they only took action after the matter went beyond the limits.

However, Dr. Ramesh said that he was attacked by nurses as he barred them from using make-up during the duty times.

Medical Superintendent of the Civil Hospital has formed a committee to probe the matter. The MS said that the accused will be punished after the report.
