SIBI (Staff Report) – At least one passenger was killed and four others were injured when a train came under rockets attack near Mattari on Tuesday.

According to media reports, militants fired three rockets at Quetta-bound Jaffar Express.

The passenger train travelling from Lahore to Quetta was in the Bakhtiarabad area when the bomb detonated, Levis sources said.

Law enforcement personnel launched a search operation in the area following the attack.

One passenger was killed and at least three others injured, while three bogies of the passenger train were derailed as a result of the attack. The victims were shifted to hospitals in Quetta.

The damaged train has been stopped on its track, causing traffic jam.

CM Balochistan Sanaullah Zehri condemned the attack and demanded a report on the incident.
