Pakistanis stranded in Xinjiang are safe: FO

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Foreign Office says forty-five Pakistanis stranded in Chinese city of Tashkurgan in the Xinjiang Province are safe.

Spokesman Nafees Zakaria said in a statement that the Embassy of Pakistan is in contact with them for the last two days.

The Embassy is also in contact with the Chinese Foreign Office and the authorities in Xinjiang to provide relief to these Pakistanis and to explore various options for their early repatriation.
