PIA flight to evacuate stranded Pakistanis in Istanbul

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will operate a ferry flight to Istanbul at the earliest to evacuate Pakistanis stranded.

According to a statement issued this evening, PIA Chairman Azam Saigol said that Boeing-777 will be sent to Istanbul to bring back Pakistanis.

Earlier, an attempted military coup by a faction of the Army was repelled in Turkey on Friday night when hundreds of thousands of people took out to streets on the call of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
