COLOMBO (Staff Report) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has launched a book entitled “Majestic Pakistan” which is a compilation of photographs depicting beautiful scenery of different areas of the country.

On a reception hosted in his honour by Pakistan High Commission in Colombo, the premier also released a song on Pakistan-Sri Lanka friendship, which has been sung in three languages — Urdu, Sinhalese and Tamil.

The reception was also attended by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and other senior officials of Sri Lanka.

On the occasion Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif presented a copy of Majestic Pakistan to his Sri Lankan counterpart. The book also highlights about Pakistan being home to Buddhist civilization.

During the stay in Sri Lanka, Prime Minister will discuss ways to strengthen economic relations and enhance trade between the two countries.

In this regard, the two sides will sign a number of MOUs and agreements.
