ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the 341 billion rupees Kissan package will benefit farmers of the entire country, particularly the small farmer.

In a statement on Friday, the Prime Minister welcomed the restoration of “Kissan” package by the Islamabad High Court.
The Prime Minister said that farmers will get subsidised loans for agriculture, increased compensation to rice and cotton growers and increase of per index value unit of land from two thousand rupees to four thousand rupees.
He reiterated that the package is for the farmers of Pakistan and will be implemented without any political or regional bias.
