ISLAMABAD – Two more leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party Punjab chapter have formally joined the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).
Former PPP lawmakers, Moazzam Jatoi and Amir Yar Waran on Wednesday held a meeting with PTI chief Imran Khan at his residence in Bani Gala and announced their inclusion in the party.
Earlier, the two PPP leaders met PTI Secretary General Jehangir Tareen before having a meeting with Imran Khan. The PTI chief welcomed them into his party.
PTI key leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi also attended the meeting between Khan, Jatoi and Waran.
On June 23, former PPP leader and Senator Dr Babar Awan formally joined the PPTI. He also resigned from the Senate before joining the Imran Khan’s party.
Earlier, PPP’s Firdous Ashiq Awan, Nazar Muhammad Gondal and Noor Alam Khan have joined the party.
