Private channels run Indo-China war news with old photos from LoC

LAHORE - A private media news channel run a sensational news with fake clip and photos regarding Sino-India war and claimed, "at least 158 Indian soldiers have been killed on Monday as China fired rockets across the border. Reportedly, several soldiers were wounded in the attack today."

The news spread on social media like a wildfire but independent sources did not confirm the news even netizens did not find this kind of "breaking news" on Indian and Chinese media/websites.

As a result, netizens expressed their anger on social media and commented harshly.

The published photos which are used by the news channel are from LOC, tweeted by Congress party leader Salman Nizami. The damage showed in the photos was took place when Pakistani troops struck the Indian army at LOC.
