PTI not to field candidate in Khanzada's constituency for by-poll

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Sunday said the PTI will not field any candidate in the constituency of deceased Punjab Home Minister Shuja Khanzada for the bye election.

In a statement at micro-blogging website Twitter, Khan made this announcement in respect of Shuja Khanzada.

Out of respect for shaheed Shuja Khanzada PTI will not put up a candidate for the bye election in his constituency.

Earlier Punjab Home Minister Shuja Khanzada was killed in a suicide bomb attack along with 14 others while he was attending a Jirga at his political office in Attock.

Khanzada was elected as member of Punjab Assembly from PP-16 (Attock-II).
