LAHORE – Differences between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf members Abdul Aleem Khan and Naeem Ul Haq publicly surfaced on Sunday as the former gave a scathing rejoinder to Naeem.

According to the details, a few days back, Abdul Aleem Khan, issued a press release suggesting that he would be contesting elections from NA-125 in general elections 2018.

However, Naeem Ul Haq who is current information secretary of PTI issued a press release on Sunday that the party would decide as to who would represent PTI for the said constituency.

Estranged by Naeem’s views, Abdul Aleem Khan on monday categoorically clarified that he was the president of central Punjab of PTI and so he had the complete authority of deciding PTI’s candidate.

He went on and hit back at Naeem by saying that he should focus on party’s media cell.

NA-125 is among the four constituencies Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf demanded recounting for. For 2013 elections, PTI nominated Hamid Khan to combat PML-N’s Khawaja Saad Rafique and the latter overpowered Hamid.

Saad Rafique had bagged 123,416 votes from the constituency beating PTI’s Hamid Khan who secured 84,495 thousand votes.

Abdul Aleem Khan contested from NA-122 against Ayyaz Sadiq in 2015 however, Ayyaz regained his seat by a margin of 4161 votes.
