Qandeel murder case: Mysterious findings from the crime scene cast suspicion on her mother

MULTAN (News Desk) - In a startling development in Qandeel Baloch murder case, the latest details from the crime scene suggest that the model's mother could also have played a role in her killing.

According to Urdu daily Nawa-i-waqt, the police officials have revealed that some broken bangles which looked like the bangles worn by Qandeel's mother were recovered from the room where she was killed.

"We have collected some bangles from Qandeel Baloch's mother as well, and in-depth examination of all the evidence will be carried out," the newspaper said while quoting a police official.

The investigators are also expected to receive the forensic report of the dead body in few days, which will further clear the direction of the probe.

Meanwhile, police have also arrested a relative of Qandeel Baloch, Zafar, who was constantly in contact with prime accused Waseem Ahmad on the night of the murder.

It is also pertinent to be mentioned here that Qandeel's father had previously told the police that the accused had drugged the whole family before he strangled Qandeel Baloch while she was sleeping at her Multan residence.
