Qatari Prince Hamad Bin Jassim is ready to answer JIT questions

ISLAMABAD - Qatar's Prince Hamad Bin Jassim bin Jaber Al-Thani has invited members of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to his palace for answering questions related the Panama Papers probe, reported Geo News on Friday.

The prince has also asked for names of the JIT members and the dates of their visit.

Al-Thani has also answered the letter by the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) and the same will be presented before the team today. A source close to the Sharif family, present in Doha for the past two days, Geo News added.

In its last communication to Al-Thani, the JIT considered the verification and investigation of Qatari prince’s letters important for Hussain Nawaz and Hasan Nawaz.

The latest JIT’s communication dated July 4 and addressed to the Qatari prince did not mention any relevance of Thani’s probe with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
