RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – The Rawalpindi district administration has decided to return the confiscated belongings after charging a minimum Rs 10,000 penalty from the owners.

According to sources, the authority has decided to return to return the confiscated items after charging the sum from the violators, otherwise, the seized items would be put on sale.

DCO Sajid Zafar Dar has directed the municipal departments of Rawal Town and Pothar Town to impose hefty fines on expensive confiscated valuables besides taking oath from people on affidavit that they will not indulge in encroachments in the future.

Rawal Town Officer Regulation (TOR) Malik Tauseef said that the new policy against encroachment would help bring down violations and encroachments besides booting the revenue of the department.
