Senate to meet on Monday

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) - Senate, the upper house of parliament, is going to meet at 3:00 pm on October 5 (Monday).

During the session the House will convert itself into a Committee as a whole to consider different methodologies to be adopted for the election of members of senate and other matters related to electoral reforms.

The committee has been constituted on a motion moved by the Leader of the House.

The committee is also expected to take up a research paper on international practices regarding elections of members of the House.
