RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) –  Pakistan Awami Muslim League (PAML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad’s warning regarding the removal of containers finally worked as the government succumbed to his volition, removing the containers from Rawalpindi roads.

Earlier, roads leading to Lal Haveli were sealed by containers ahead of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) planned sit-in in the city. A Lal haveli spokesperson also said that telephone lines had been cut off.

According to reports, due to traffic, a woman died in an ambulance while on her way to the hospital. A kid in Lahore also lost his life due to snarl up caused as a result of road blockage.

PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has left his residence and will lead the rally to Rawalpindi. The rally will demand justice for families of the Model Town victims.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad is today (Saturday) set to lead a rally from Rawalpindi to Lahore to participate in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Ehtesaab March.
