Sindh police to set up counter-terrorism university

KARACHI (Staff Reporter) - Sindh Police, under its Promise of Peace (PoP), have decided to establish a counter-terrorism university.

“The university will cater to the development of new training for police officials of all ranks in view of changing criminal and terrorists’ strategies”,  the sources said, adding that the PoP project would help in successful implementation of NAP across the province.

According to sources, an approval in this regard was accorded by Sindh Police Management Board (SPMB) during a meeting chaired by Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Sial at the Special Security Unit (SSU) headquarters.
