KARACHI - Revered philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi who died last night, once shared an interesting story of when he was about to be robbed by a group of dacoits.

In a television interview earlier, the famed social worker disclosed that once he was about ot be robbed of his valuables by a gang of dacoits, when one of them recognized him and yelled at his fellows to return everything.

Upon inquiry by his fellows, the robber explained that they were robbing Abdul Sattar Edhi, who would be the only person to come to bury them Abdul Sattar Edhi and administer their last rituals if they ever died in a police encounter.

The argument apparently worked on the gang members, who returned everything back to Edhi and left.
