#USMustDroneFazalUllahNow: Twitter users urge US to target TTP chief
LAHORE (Staff Report) - Following the reported killing of Afghan Taliban chief Mullah Akhter Mansour in a US drone strike near the Pak-Afghan border, hundreds of Pakistanis took to micro-blogging website Twitter to urge the United States to target Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan head Mullah Fazalullah as well.

Twitter users posted their messages online using hashtag #USMustDroneFazalUllahNow. The hashtag became the top trend on Pakistani Twitter for the day.

Pakistan's army is currently carrying out an operation in the country's tribal regions to clear the areas of Tehreek-e-Taliban. However, the top leadership of TTP is said to be hiding in Afghanistan.

Pakistan has time and again demanded Afghanistan to take action against TTP leadership and prevent usage of its soil for attacks on Pakistan.

Earlier in 2013, a US drone drone had targeted and killed former TTP chief Hakimullah Mehsud, while he was busy in peace talks with Pakistani government.

The militant group declined every offer of talks following the killing of their commander.
