SRINAGAR - A viral photo showing a Kashmiri man tied to Indian Army Jeep is exposing the ugly truth about the Indian version of democracy.

The photo that stumped the internet on Thursday shows a man being carried along as human shield in a disgusting matter.

The authenticity of the photo can be verified as a clip showing the same young man was tweeted by former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah.

What adds insult to the injury of Indian claims of right to free speech is the fact that in the background, an army soldier can be heard saying: 'Those who throw stones will meet the same fate.'
