Multan: woman commits suicide after throwing acid on husband, son

MULTAN - A woman has committed suicide over a domestic dispute after throwing acid on her husband and son, police said on Wednesday.

Sources said that the victim Asmat Bibi, 40, her husband Ameen, often exchanged hot words with each other and quarrels had become their daily routine.

Fed up of domestic disputes, Asmat sprinkled acid on her husband and son Abdullah, 12 and later ended her life by consuming acid.

The wounded were rushed to Nishtar hospital in an emergency where their condition was stated to be stable. Police have registered a case and started an investigation.-Online
