ISLAMABAD – Pakistan will send its wrestlers to Singapore for the Commonwealth Wrestling Championship scheduled from November 4 to 7.

According to Pakistan Wrestling Federation (PWF) Secretary Arshad Sattar, the Pakistan contingent for the championship included eight wrestlers and three officials.

The wrestling team will depart to Singapore on Thursday, he added.

The contingent includes Muhammad Bilal (57kg), Abdul Wahab (61kg), Muhammad Mudassir (65kg), Abdul Rehman (70kg), Asad Butt (74kg), Muhammad Inam Butt (86kg), Ameer Tariq Butt (97kg) and Zaman Anwar Arif (125kg).

Team manager Khalid Yaqoob, coach Sohail Rashid and referee Faheem Anwar will be joining the team for this year’s Commonwealth championship.
