LAHORE (Web Desk) – Mohammad Akram, Pakistan’s National Cricket Academy head (NCA) coach, has resigned from the post before three months before his contract expires.

Mohammad Akram resigned on Saturday from his post due to some family issues. Mohammad Akram was serving at NCA as head coach.

Mohammad Akram has been appointed as a bowling coach of Pakistan’s national cricket team in 2012 for one year. After the appointment of Waqar Yuounus he was appointed as head coach at NCA, Lahore.

Akram, who resides in UK, was right arm fast-medium bowler played in 9 Test matches and 23 One Day International matches for Pakistan between 1995–1996 and 2000-2001.
