DUBAI – Quetta Gladiators beat Lahore Qalandars by 8 runs in the second T20 match of Pakistan Super League’s second edition at Dubai International Cricket Stadium
The gladiators had set a target of 136 runs with the help of Rilee Rossouw, who was the only Quetta batsman who scored 60 off 47. His innings included three fours and two sixes. Asad Shafiq made 29 off 28 deliveries.
For Lahore, PSL debutant Mohammad Irfan junior got three wickets for 26 runs, Sohail Tanvir and Sunil Naine got two wickets.
However, the Lahore Qalandars could only score 128 runs after losing all wickets in 18.4 overs. JJ Roy scored 27 runs off 14 balls, BB McCullum scored 20 runs off 11 balls and Fakhar Zaman 11 runs.
For Quetta, Zulfiqar Babar got two wickets for 31 runs and Hassan Khan also got two wickets for 10 runs.
Brendon McCullum led Lahore Qalandars whereas Sarfraz Ahmed Quetta Gladiators.
