President appreciates special Olympic players

ISLAMABAD (APP) - President Mamnoon Hussain has assured special Olympic players that government will resolve all the problems being faced by them on priority basis and required assistance will be provided to them.

He was talking to the players and staff members of Pakistan Special Olympics who took part in the World Special Games held in Los Angles this year.

The President appreciated the performance of special Olympic players of the country and said that the nation is proud them as they have earned good name of the country by demonstrating outstanding performance in the Special World Games.

He said that Street Children Team of Pakistan, the Blind Cricket Team and the Special Olympic players of the country have always earned good name of the nation and they deserve due attention.

Chairperson Special Olympic Pakistan, Ronaq Lakhani informed the President that Pakistani special players overall won sixty-five medals, of them fifteen gold and twelve silver in the World Special Games held in Los Angles.
