PTF announces four-member team for Fed Cup

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) on Friday announced a four-member team for the Fed Cup Group-II, taking place at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from June 17 to 22.

The team has been announced after trials that were successfully held from April 29 to May 1, the spokesman of Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) said in a statement.

In total, six players participated in the trials, however, four players were selected after the three days’ extensive trials. The selected players include Sara Mansoor, Sarah Mahboob, Meheq Khokhar and Noor Malik.

“It is heartening to note that Noor Malik has been selected for the first time and will be making her debut in the Fed Cup event in Malaysia,” he said.

“Some of the players had sent their regrets regarding participation in the trials due to their personal commitments”, he added.
