ISLAMABAD (APP) – The organisers are in process of completing all arrangements to hold annual Digital Youth Summit-2016, aimed at highlighting next generation of digital innovators in the country.
The Summit will be held from May 24 to 26 and be co-organised by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board in Peshawar. The focus is on bringing to front technology entrepreneurship and encouraging ideas that attempt to resolve social problems -commonly referred to as `tech for social.’
The organizers on Sunday said the Summit was launched in May 2014 as a joint initiative by the government of KPK and local as well as international partners.
They said to date, the conference has witnessed more than 4000 participants each year as it is not just a start up expo but also an employment opportunity for thousands of interested participants.
They said to further motivate and encourage hidden talents in field of technology and entrepreneurship a number of programmes have been organized.
