CALIFORNIA – Twitter Inc is joining hands with Bloomberg Media to stream television news service round the clock on the social networking platform, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday.

The channel, which will be given name soon and is expected to begin services this fall, would be announced Monday, WSJ added.

The number of Twitter’s user has decreased in the past few quarters that affected its business. Now by adopting different strategies, the company has been making efforts to convince advertisers that it will attract more users.

As part of its struggle, it has introduced live video broadcasts from its app and launched new features to strengthen the user base.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey stated in an internal memo last October one of the company’s missions was defined as being the “people’s news network”.
