Along with the musical performances other prominent females will be seen attending the event including famous poets and filmmakers. A documentary showing the history of women in the kingdom will also be screened. Theatrical performances will make this event even more interesting.
In the history of the kingdom this will be the second event to take place in the honor of females. The first one was a three day event last year on women’s day.
This year’s event plans include a series of seminars on media, photography, culture, arts and folklore. It will also include a ceremony honoring Saudi women who made it big in journalism , sports, education, photography and art.
Saudi Arabia is working on empowering the females in the kingdom which was long due and now females will be encouraged to take part in activities related to arts, media, sports, etc.
Our country cannot move forward if we only avail ourselves to only 50% of the population. We have to be inclusive of everybody and it is part of our Vision 2030.
