NEW DELHI (Web Desk) – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday warned his cabinet members and senior BJP leaders against “chest thumping” on surgical strikes.

No “chest thumping” and no speaking out of turn, is the clear message, sources said, as the government attempts to put the lid on a war of words with opposition parties, NDTV reported.

Citing sources, NDTV said Modi has advised his ministers not to speak out of turn on claimed surgical strikes carried out by Indian forces across the Line of Control (LoC) last week.
